CRS Drive

Discovered by joint research between the Humans Vuri in the early 22nd century, the Compression in Relativistic Space (CRS) Manifold was the first of two major discoveries in faster than light travel.

In a nutshell, the CRS, or “CRuSh” drive collapses the distance between two points in space into a sub-space tunnel with a “length” of 11 days regardless of distance. Officially, the distance of space that could be compressed into this sub-space tunnel is exponentially relative to the amount of energy fed into the manifold. To date, the largest distance that could be traversed with a “CRuSh” drive is three parsecs.
